FCMB Business Zone is a resource center for SMEs and Entrepreneurs in
Nigeria. It provides access to the right information about funding, business
advisory, training services, networking events and innovative technology
services.

If you are a STANDARD USER, follow these steps to sign up: 

    1. Visit https://businesszone.fcmb.com/signup
    2. Complete the form
    3. Click ‘Register’ 
    4. You will receive a link in the email address you provided; simply click on the link to activate your account 

If you are a BUSINESS OWNER, follow these steps to sign up: 

  1. Visit https://businesszone.fcmb.com/merchantreg 
  2. Complete the required fields
  3. Click ‘Submit’
  4. You will receive a link in the email address you provided; simply click on the link to activate your account  

The FCMB Business Zone is a useful tool for positioning your business for strategic growth and development. It can help you reach new markets and increase the visibility of your business by showcasing your services to users of the Business Zone.

Between 12 – 24 hours 

  • Confirm you have registered your correct email address on the Business Zone
  • Check the junk or SPAM folder in your mailbox for the registration notification

  • Please ensure that the file format you are trying to upload is JPEG
  • The file size should be below 50MB

Yes, your business must have an RC number for you to be registered as a business owner/merchant on the Business Zone but you can be registered as a standard user without the RC number.

Yes you can, send an email to SMEHelpdesk@fcmb.com and we will update the status of your account. Once this is done, you will be required to log into your account and provide your RC number along with other details of your registered business

 

 

Nothing at all. This service is absolutely free!

  • You join a community by signing up as either a standard user or a business owner – See Question 2  on how to sign-up.
  • Once you have signed up, click the ‘Community’ menu on the home page and select the ‘Community’ you wish to join.

  • Yes, you do. The courses are available to business owners that have signed up on business zone.
  • Once you have signed up, click the resources menu on the home page and select trainings, then select the course you would like to enrol for.

  • Merchant must confirm receipt of request for service within 48 hours
  • Merchant must issue an invoice to the client from the business zone merchant platform
  • Merchant must deliver service once a client has made payment
  • Funds paid to merchant will be held in an FCMB ESCROW account until buyer confirms service has been delivered

For listed services

  • Funds paid to merchant will be held in FCMB ESCROW account until buyer confirms service has been delivered

  • Visit https://businesszone.fcmb.com/
  • Click on the 'Sign up' button 
  • Click on ‘Merchant Signup’, complete the registration form and submit 
  • You will receive an email with a link to verify your email address, click on the link
  • You will be directed to the business zone page, to sign in 
  • Please enable popup notifications from the business zone on your device to stay connected

  • Log into the business zone with your login details
  • Select ‘offered services’
  • Select ‘manage offered services’
  • Click ‘add service’
  • Enter details of the service, name, description and price (you can list up to 10 services)
  • Click submit

  • Log into the business zone with your login details
  • Select ‘manage page adverts’
  • Click ‘add advert ’ (you can add up to 3 advert banners)
  • Enter the link you want the advert to redirect to when clicked (it can be a webpage or a YouTube video)
  • Upload the image to be used for the advert
  • Click create

  • Log into the business zone with your login details
  • Select ‘request’ and then select ‘custom request’
  • View the list of custom requests and click ‘action’ to either process an invoice for a request or decline a request

  • When a user makes payment for a listed service, you will get an email and pop-up notification informing you that payment has been made
  • The funds will be received into an FCMB ESCROW account until service has been delivered to the customer
  • You will be required to reach out to the customer to acknowledge payment
  • Once the buyer confirms service has been delivered, the funds will be transferred to your FCMB account

  • You will receive an email and a pop notification on your business zone dashboard informing you that a user has requested for a custom service
  • You will be required to log into your business zone dashboard to either issue an invoice for the service or decline the service
  • Once you issue an invoice, the customer will get a pop-up notification and an email with an invoice and a link to make payment for the service
  • When the buyer makes payment, you will get an email and a pop-up notification informing you that payment has been made
  • The funds will be received into an FCMB ESCROW account until service has been delivered to the buyer
  • You will be required to reach out to the customer to acknowledge payment
  • Once the buyer confirms service has been delivered, the funds will be transferred to your FCMB account
